The barracks area is very busy. The setup for the premiere of the Basel Tattoo next Friday is in full swing. Today we gave an insight into the rehearsals. Formations from all over the world enchant the audience with an atmospheric program for nine days. A total of around 1 participants take part in the Basel Tattoo 2023 part.

The Lucerne Marching Band showed the media representatives present a taste of their skills at today's rehearsal visit. The 50-strong parade formation of the Feldmusik Luzern takes part for the first time Basel Tattoo and is excited about their appearance. The Mexicans also showed up briefly in the arena and indicated the colorful and happy spectacle the spectators can expect from them.

In addition, we today announced the participation of the two Irish soloists Tara Howley and Gráinne Brady, who will be responsible for the music of the Canadian dancers. Tara Howley is a multi-award winning instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and composer. For the past seven years she has been the leading uilleann piper and whistle player on the Grammy-winning show Riverdance.

Violinist Gráinne Brady comes from a musical family and grew up attending traditional music festivals around Ireland. Three days before the premiere, things are still being screwed and hammered in some places, and preparations are in full swing. In the coming days, among other things, the technical fine-tuning will follow, so that the audience not only gets their money's worth visually, but also acoustically.

The heart of the Basel Tattoo, the arena, is already shining in all its glory and is waiting to be allowed to accommodate the visitors. In the next few days we will continue to practice diligently here. The anticipation of the 16th Basel Tattoo increases and can be felt by the actors and organizers.
