The Basel Tattoo 2023 kept what it had promised: This year's edition offered a wonderful mix of show, dance, exoticism, marching music and bagpipe sounds. 1 performers from 000 formations and four continents impressed the audience during eleven performances. The Basel Tattoo ended with an atmospheric dernier.
The Lone Piper greeted one last time from the barracks tower tonight and once again caused the indescribable goose bumps atmosphere. The visitors were able to enjoy great performances from all over the world. The varied and musically high-quality show captivated the audience night after night. Cultural diversity, exotic elements, a portion of Swissness, refreshing dance and mystical bagpipe sounds shaped it Basel Tattoo 2023. The absolute crowd favorites included the Banda Monumental de México, the New Zealand Amy Band and the Brass Band from Ukraine. The performance of the Swiss military band's recruit game was also strong and the Scottish act with 200 bagpipe players and 50 Canadian Highland dancers caused great emotions. A total of almost 70 spectators watched the eleven performances. The Basel Tattoo Parade with around 120 onlookers was also a complete success.
